OUR RECIPE FOR UNIQUE FURNITURES

Admittedly, handmade products are basically diverse – even if you only discover it upon a closer look.

For us, a piece of furniture is unique in its design and form when the influence of the material, the surface, the craftsmanship, the inspiration from the client come together and lead to an exclusive result.

Team

We are very proud of our team. We have people working with us who treat each other with respect. Willingness to help, joy in learning and experimenting, enthusiasm and love for the job are further characteristics of our employees. We love their heterogeneity with different experiences and skills – that forms our creativity and offers a wide range of possibilities.

Exciting projects, endless manufacturing options and a variety of different materials only matter when there are people who enjoy creating something from these components.

These kind of people work for us, they are unique, versatile, diverse.

Projects/Clients

We are committed to realising our clients’ visions with passion and precision.

Our strength lies in taking on board clients’ wishes or visions, understanding them, optimising them from a technical perspective or contributing our own ideas and implementing them in close coordination

During the creation process we are in constant dialogue with our clients, as new decision-making opportunities constantly arise during the completion process.

We believe that only through the constant involvement of our clients it is possible to create finally an exclusive, unique piece and achieve a maximum client satisfaction.

Materials and Surfaces

The variety of materials in conjunction with the wide range of surface treatment options results in an almost infinite number of design possibilities. For example, the surface of wood or board material can be finished from “brushed in relief” to “vintage” to “high-gloss polished”. The colour is determined by bleaching, smoking, staining, liming, glazing or varnishing.

We are constantly experimenting! As trendy surfaces, we offer, for example, a coating with liquid metal filler (e.g. bronze, silver, copper, brass and iron).

Our relief-like surface “Sylt or the “Kroko” texture modelled on crocodile skin are unique.

But leather, sheet metal, fabric, concrete, stone and even moss also offer us endless possibilities in the manufacture and finishing of our furniture.

Material Science

Wood in its original materiality as solid wood or in processed form such as plywood, MDF, chipboard, blockboard, etc. is still our most important design material.

To manufacture our exclusive furniture and interior furnishings we also like to use complementary materials such as solid surface materials, acrylic glass, laminates and other plastics.

We also use natural materials such as linoleum, tree bark, wallpaper, fabric, natural stone, glass and leather.

But what is MDF or linoleum? We have put together an overview of “our” materials.
